AFJROTC Activities: Leadership Development Requirements (LDRs)

Air Force JROTC uses "Leadership Development Requirements (LDRs) (Activities and Events) as a way to help cadets learn leadership and other related skills. LDRs provide cadets with opportunities to plan, lead and participate in a variety of activites and events.  Many are typical things you might think of in relation to a JROTC program.  Color Guard, Drill, Marksmanship, etc.  There are also developing opportunities to participate in other LDRs, such as Model Rockets, Drones and Robotics.  Once cadets build a level of comfort or even expertise, they can then participate in competitions to help them further develop leadership and problem solving skills.
