Dual Enrollment
Dual Enrollment Requirements
HCHS students may participate in Academic Dual Enrollment through North Florida College (NFC) and Career and Technical Dual Enrollment through RIVEROAK Technical College.
To qualify for Academic Dual Enrollment through NFC students must meet ALL of the following requirements:
- Must be an HCHS Student
- Must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 unweighted scale
- Must have 4 High School Credits
- 1 credit in Algebra 1 and 1 credit in English 1 are required
- Must have College Entry Assessment scores (ACT, PERT, or SAT) in Reading, English/Writing and Mathematics

Test Information
23-24 PERT Test Dates
HCHS students in Grades 9-12 may take the PERT Exam free of charge at HCHS. Students in Grade 8 may take the PERT Exam free of charge at HCHS only if the student is enrolled in Algebra 1-A or Algebra 1. All testing occurs in the Testing Lab (Room 418) unless otherwise specified.

HCHS Juniors and Seniors are eligible for 4 ACT Fee Waivers that may be used during their Junior or Senior year. Students must see Mrs. Elizabeth Mitchell to receive a Fee Waiver.
