HCHS graduation is scheduled for Friday, May 23rd. Students MUST order a cap and gown from Herff Jones in order to participate in HCHS graduation ceremony. All students are required to wear a cap and gown purchased exclusively through Herff Jones. Students may not wear borrowed regalia or regalia purchased from alternative vendors.

Congresswoman Kat Cammack invites you to attend Service Academy Day on Saturday, May 17th at Buchholz High School 5510 NW 27th Avenue, Gainesville, FL 32606 from 9 AM to 12 PM. High school seniors, as well as high school graduates under the age of 23, who reside within Florida’s Third Congressional District are eligible to apply for a nomination to a service academy through Congresswoman Cammack's office.
Service Academy Day provides all students and recent graduates with the opportunity to obtain more information on the application process and speak with representatives from the five U.S. Service Academies: the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, the U.S. Naval Academy, the U.S. Air Force Academy, the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy, and the U.S. Coast Guard Academy.
Please note: the fifth service academy, the U.S. Coast Guard Academy, does not require a congressional nomination for appointment.
